Small-Group Boat Tour Pula - Snorkeling, SUP & Cliff Jumping Adventure

A small-group boat tour in Pula is the ideal middle ground: more adventure and more water time than a big cruise boat, but a fraction of the cost of a private charter. This four-hour trip takes no more than eight guests around the Brijuni Islands for snorkeling, swimming, SUP and optional cliff jumping - an active day on the Adriatic at a friendly per-person price.

A Small-Group Adventure from Pula

Rather than packing dozens of passengers onto one deck, this tour keeps the group to a maximum of eight. You share the boat with just a few other travelers, which means the swim stops stay unhurried, the skipper knows everyone, and there is real room to enjoy the water. It is the sociable, affordable way to get properly out to sea near Pula.

Snorkeling in Clear Brijuni Bays

The route heads for the sheltered bays around the Brijuni archipelago, where the water is clear and calm and the snorkeling is excellent. The skipper anchors in quiet coves and hands out masks so you can drift over the seabed watching the fish. Because the boat is small, it reaches shallow, protected spots the larger group boats never stop at.

Cliff Jumping and SUP

For the adventurous, there is optional cliff jumping from heights of up to 15 meters into deep, clear water - a real highlight for thrill-seekers. A stand-up paddleboard is on board too, so between jumps and snorkels you can paddle along the shoreline at your own pace. None of it is compulsory, so gentle swimmers who prefer to stay near the boat are just as welcome.

Morning or Afternoon Departure

The trip runs as either a morning or an afternoon departure, so it slots neatly around the rest of your day in Pula. Take the morning slot and keep the afternoon for the old town and the Arena, or head out after lunch - both departures cover the same bays, snorkeling and cliff jumping.

Drinks on Board

Drinks are on board and included, so between swims you can relax with something cold in hand and take in the coast. The mood is easy and social - a small group of like-minded travelers making the most of a beautiful stretch of the Adriatic.

Who This Small-Group Tour Is For

This trip suits active couples, solo travelers, and small groups of friends or older families who want adventure without the cost of a private boat. If you love snorkeling, jumping and being in the water, and you don't mind sharing the boat with a few others, it is an ideal fit. Prefer complete privacy? Ask about our private half-day charters instead.

Why a Small Group Beats a Big Boat

The large excursion boats around Pula can carry dozens of passengers, which means queues to get in the water and little time in each bay. A small group of eight is a different experience entirely: unhurried swim stops, real room to snorkel, and a skipper who can keep the cliff jumping safe and fun. You pay a fair price per person and still get something close to the feeling of a private boat.

Best Time for a Boat Adventure in Pula

The clear water and warm sea around the Brijuni Islands are at their best through the warm months from late spring into early autumn. Mornings usually bring the flattest, clearest water for snorkeling and cliff jumping, while afternoons follow a later start - on a small-group tour the skipper simply heads for the calmest, most inviting bays on the day.

What Is Included and What to Bring

The tour includes the boat and licensed skipper for the full four hours, fuel, snorkeling gear, a SUP and drinks. Bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen and a hat - everything else you need is already on board.

Departure, Duration and Booking

The tour lasts about four hours and departs from the Pula waterfront (Riva), a short walk from the old town. Booking is per person and includes free cancellation up to 24 hours before, with help to reschedule if the weather turns.

Frequently Asked Questions

It was a very nice boat trip with a good and family-like vibe. The food was also very good and more than enough for everyone. The swim stop was very fun. We could jump of the platform on top of the boat and also had amazing views. Greetings from Belgium!

Was a super nice experience! We went sailing and snorkelling in beautiful spots where there were hardly any other people, which made it feel really special. There were only six of us on the boat, making it perfect if you’re looking for a more intimate and relaxed sailing experience. The organisers were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure everyone had a great time. The whole trip felt very personal, and we never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pula and Fažana who wants to escape the crowds and enjoy a memorable day on the water!

The organizer of the program is a very friendly and helpful guy, who's given us all information about the tour and how to approach the boat. On the tour we've got a welcome like when you come home to your family. Peaceful, calming, fun experience. It's not a luxury trip, it's a tour with good your friends.
