Private Boat Tour Pula with Tapas & Drinks - Full-Day Brijuni Charter

Some days at sea are about ticking off sights; this one is about slowing right down. A private boat tour in Pula built around tapas and local drinks turns a full eight hours on the Adriatic into a floating long lunch - you swim, you snack, you sail a little further, and you never look at the clock. The boat is reserved for your group alone, so the whole rhythm of the day follows your appetite rather than a fixed schedule.

A Private Full-Day Charter Around Pula and Brijuni

This is a full private charter from the Pula waterfront, running roughly 09:00 to 17:00. There are no other guests and no shared seats - just your group, the skipper, and up to 11 people spread out comfortably on board. The route usually heads toward the Brijuni Islands, weaving between the calm, protected channels where the sea stays clear and glassy even in high summer.

Istrian Tapas and Local Drinks on Board

What sets this tour apart is the food. Instead of a single set meal, the day is punctuated with traditional Istrian tapas - small plates of local flavours - paired with regional wine, cold beer, soft drinks and water, all served on board and included in the price. You graze as you go, between swims and sunbathing, the way a long Mediterranean day is meant to unfold.

Swimming, Snorkeling, SUP and Cliff Jumping

Because it is a small private boat, you can anchor in shallow, sheltered bays that the larger Pula excursion boats cannot reach. Snorkeling gear and a stand-up paddleboard are on board, and for the adventurous there is optional cliff jumping from heights of up to 15 metres. Prefer to simply float in the shade with a drink in hand? That is just as good a use of the day.

Who This Private Tapas Tour Is For

This full-day tour is ideal for food-loving groups: friends celebrating together, couples who want an unhurried day, or a family that would rather graze than sit down to one big lunch. With space for up to 11 guests, it works beautifully for birthdays and small gatherings where the point is good company, good food and warm water.

Why Choose a Private Boat over a Group Tour

On a shared excursion you follow a fixed loop with strangers and a strict clock. A private boat tour in Pula flips that around: the route bends to your group, you stop where the water looks best, and you stay as long as the swimming is good. With the food and drinks already on board, there is no rushing back to a harbour for lunch - the whole day, from the first swim to the last tapas, happens at sea on your terms.

What Is Included and What to Bring

The charter includes the boat and licensed skipper for the full day, fuel, Istrian tapas, unlimited local drinks, snorkeling masks, a SUP and GoPro footage from the trip. Bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen and a light layer for the ride back - everything else you need for the day is already waiting on board.

Departure, Duration and Booking

The tour departs from the Pula waterfront (Riva), an easy walk from the old town and the Roman Arena, and returns in the late afternoon after a full eight hours at sea. Booking includes free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, and if the forecast turns your skipper will help you move to a better day.

It was a very nice boat trip with a good and family-like vibe. The food was also very good and more than enough for everyone. The swim stop was very fun. We could jump of the platform on top of the boat and also had amazing views. Greetings from Belgium!

Was a super nice experience! We went sailing and snorkelling in beautiful spots where there were hardly any other people, which made it feel really special. There were only six of us on the boat, making it perfect if you’re looking for a more intimate and relaxed sailing experience. The organisers were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made sure everyone had a great time. The whole trip felt very personal, and we never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pula and Fažana who wants to escape the crowds and enjoy a memorable day on the water!

The organizer of the program is a very friendly and helpful guy, who's given us all information about the tour and how to approach the boat. On the tour we've got a welcome like when you come home to your family. Peaceful, calming, fun experience. It's not a luxury trip, it's a tour with good your friends.
