The complete beginner course: a 1-hour theory session plus four boat lessons, taken as one lesson per day over roughly four days, taking you from complete beginner to riding on your own. The best value for anyone serious about learning to kitesurf. The daily sessions are scheduled with your instructor based on the wind. All equipment included. Kite lessons are for 1 or 2 students. Minimum age 11; must be able to swim.

There is no faster or safer way to learn kitesurfing than from the water, and that is exactly how FootLoose SurfClub teaches. Working from a boat means your instructor is right beside you the whole time, you spend more minutes actually riding and less time walking the beach, and you progress far quicker than in a traditional shore lesson.
Whether you have never held a kite or you are ready to commit to a full beginner course, there is an option for you: a Discovery lesson to try it out, a single boat lesson to keep building, or a complete Beginner Package that takes you from theory to independent riding across four sessions.
Because kitesurfing depends entirely on the wind, exact timing is flexible: once you book, the instructor coordinates the precise day and time with you based on the forecast, so you always get the best possible conditions on the water.

- Kitesurfing depends on wind, so exact day and time are coordinated with the instructor after booking, based on the forecast
- Lessons run during the season (10 August - 15 September)
- Minimum age 11; you must be comfortable swimming
- Kite lessons are for 1 or 2 students; with 2 students the boat time is doubled so each gets the same instruction

Opening hours & visit info
FootLoose SurfClub will call you at around 10:30 AM on the morning of your lesson to set your exact time, adapting to the day's wind conditions. Once your time is agreed, please arrive at the location 15 minutes early so you have time to change and get your gear ready before heading out on the water.

FootLoose SurfClub is a fantastic place to learn kitesurfing. The owner Tom is super friendly and knowledgeable. He clearly has a passion for water sports. Communication with Tom went smoothly and he always responded quickly. The boot lessons are a great way to learn how to kite. Our instructor, Rômulo, is truly amazing. He’s super calm and relaxed. He gives really good and practical tips. We felt very safe under his guidance. All the equipment they use looks brand new and extremely well-maintained. Plus, the school has a really fun vibe. Before and after lessons, there’s plenty of time to grab a coffee or a drink. It’s nice to hang out and chat with Tom, Rômulo and other students. I am a beginner wingfoiler and tried to teach myself. After 7-8 sessions alone and struggling to get up on foil I decided to get a lesson at Tom‘s school. After only two lessons with Romolo it is nearly normal for me to get on foil, upwind and feel comfortable on the water. Romolo‘s teaching style is awesome, calm, giving inputs when needed but also giving you time to practice what you discussed previously without intervening every second. It really suited my learning style perfectly. In addition Tom was really really friendly in letting me store my material for a few days and always hosted passing people for a drink in the early evening! I would reccomend this school immediately to anyone!

My husband and 2 kids took the kite surfing lesson 2 times. Tom was a very nice and experienced instructor. He's very patient and explained everything very clearly. Thanks to his experience, our learning curve was pretty smooth. It was very pleasant to know we were the first customers at his newly opened shop — all the equipment was brand new. Tom was also considerate. He checks the wind forecast to give a trustworthy recommendation. Before the lessons, we were not sure if we would like kite surfing. After the first lesson, my kids already liked it. Before this vacation ends, we will probably come back again.

Great location next to the launching and landing spot. Great equipment from North. I had an Orbit 10qm with a wide wind range. Great service and hints for beginners and abscess riders alike. Thank you and I'll be back to Viganj in few weeks, if I get a cheap flight from Berlin in June.

I spent 6 days learning kitesurfing at Footlose as a complete beginner and had a wonderful time. My instructor Romulo was super professional, patient and made everything easy to understand. Big thanks also to Tomislav owner of the school for always being friendly and full of good advice on how to improve your kiting😄 I will definitely come back soon! 🌊☀️
