We went to Pula for an Extreme Day Trip on a Saturday and booked in a gold tasting experience. Turned up and was greeted by name straight away, taken through to the tasting experience straight away with 1 other couple. Lovely, intimate and informative session that we really enjoyed! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit different on a trip. Bought a small bottle of our favourite oil in the shop as we left :)

Hidden gem in Pula — you really have to go. I had a fantastic time there. Through a spontaneous decision, I experienced the best activity of my day in Pula. Marko also hosted an excellent tasting experience (I opted for the Gold one). He has such deep knowledge of olive oil in Istria and gave valuable insights into the differences between “good” and “bad” olive oils — and also proved it through the tasting. After tasting three different oils (including detailed explanations), we even had the chance to try 10 other oils on our own. One more thing worth mentioning: I really appreciated the high-quality German translation of the content in the museum. Nothing got lost in translation compared to the English version. Many thanks for the outstanding experience!

We had a fantastic visit on a Gold pass which included access to the small museum, the basic tasting and presentation relating to the quality of olive oil and how to identify a good oil, then a further exploration of 5 oils, plus a dessert to season with your favourite oil. The host, the business manager, Marcus (? Apologies if i have this wrong) was extremely engaging and his presentation was really informative. He is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about all things olive oil and Istrian olive oil in particular. He chatted with us in the shop afterwards and could tell us about each of the olive oils available to purchase. Really excellent way to spend a couple of hours, after an early visit to the anphitheatre - escaping the late morning sun.

Very interesting content about the tipical product of Istria from the acient times. Giving a compact but deep, professional impression about the history and technology of the oil. The crew is very nice, passionate about their job. We enjoyed the oil tasting, it was eye-opening, highly recommended if you are an olive oil lover. Grateful for the experience.
