Cres, Blue Cave & Lubenice Beach Boat Tour from Medulin
Discover a bigger Adriatic adventure with a full-day boat tour from Medulin to the island of Cres. This trip takes you across the sea from southern Istria towards one of the most beautiful islands in the Kvarner Bay area, combining swimming, sightseeing, lunch on board and time to explore Cres town at your own pace.
The tour starts from Medulin Harbor and begins with a scenic cruise through the Medulin archipelago. As the boat leaves the Istrian coast behind, you will enjoy open-sea views, fresh air and a relaxed full-day atmosphere on board.
After around 1 hour and 45 minutes of cruising, the boat reaches the Blue Cave area near Lubenice Beach on the island of Cres. This is one of the highlights of the trip, with clear turquoise water, rocky coastal scenery and time for swimming or snorkeling. If sea conditions allow, guests can swim near or into the Blue Cave, while those who prefer to stay dry can relax on the boat and enjoy the view.
The route continues past Hrid Zaglav Lighthouse, a remote lighthouse on a small rocky islet. This part of the trip offers beautiful photo opportunities and, if you are lucky, you may also spot griffon vultures above the cliffs or dolphins in the surrounding waters.
Lunch is served on board, with fish, tuna steak, meat or vegetarian options, accompanied by drinks during lunch. After lunch, the boat continues to Cres town, where you have around 2 hours of free time to explore the old streets, harbor, cafés, shops and relaxed island atmosphere.
On the return cruise to Medulin, enjoy panoramic views of Kvarner Bay and keep an eye on the sea, as dolphins are sometimes seen during this part of the journey. This tour is ideal for guests who want a longer boat experience from Medulin, combining nature, swimming, island culture and a real full-day sea escape.

We had a great time on the dolphin tour. We saw a whole pod of dolphins, much closer than we expected, which made the trip completely worth it. The crew was friendly, everything was well organized, and dinner was perfectly fine. One tip for future visitors: once the boat leaves the harbor, head to the front of the boat. It’s by far the best place to spot the dolphins and enjoy the views. Definitely recommended if you’re staying in the Medulin area.

Amazing experience! Staff was amazing, food was good, but the best was the effort from the whole crew to provide a great experience to the guests! We saw several dolfins which made the cruise even more special :) a special thank you to Ilian who made everyone feel welcome and was the best host! Sharing fun facts, and ensuring everyone had a great time. Thank you!!

Very nice boat ride. Seems First a Bit pricy but worth every cent. The whole Crew was super nice and friendly. Unlimited Drinks and the Dinner on Board made it Perfect…..and Off course don’t Expect five Star Restaurant Dinner and drinks but for cooked on the Ship it was really ok. We would recommend the Trip for sure!

We had a very nice experience. Every single crew member was awesome, all drinks for free (water, beer, soft drinks etc) plus the food was very good too (we had fish). One stop for swimming at the cave and one 2hr stop at the island was great as well. Would recommend 👌
